Job description
MultiSafepay is a leading payment service provider, offering omnichannel and advanced payment solutions to businesses across Europe. We are innovative and fast-growing, building powerful solutions that transform the way our clients do business. We focus on delivering real solutions to their challenges and always stay ahead of the curve. In short, we are a true FinTech.
We're on a mission to make payments simple, secure, and accessible for every business. With powerful in-house technology and deep expertise, our modular platform brings online, in-person, and cross-border payments together in one place — giving merchants the flexibility to scale on their own terms. Through a partnership-first approach, we tackle complexity head-on, keep payments running smoothly, and boost success rates. It's how we level the playing field for businesses of all sizes and ambitions.
About the Role
We are looking for a hybrid technical and client-facing professional to join our European growth engine. This is not a standard integration support role—we have a dedicated team for that. Instead, you will own the complex, high-value technical conversations that sit between pre-sales engineering and post-sales strategic success.
You will work across two powerful, complementary product stacks:
MultiSafepay – EU-centric acquiring built for omnichannel commerce with deep local expertise and payment method coverage.
Antom – Global payment solutions covering tokenization, payout capabilities, risk management, connected commerce, and a broad range of global payment methods.
Reporting to the Solutions Architect, you will be a core part of our growth strategy, helping unlock revenue opportunities across subscriptions and recurring payments, omnichannel commerce, and platform-enabled business models.
You will engage directly with merchants and platform partners at an API, architectural, and business-logic level—while collaborating with teams across functions and regions.
You are equally comfortable designing a complex payments architecture before go-live and helping a merchant optimize, scale, and expand after launch. That end-to-end ownership is what makes this role different.
This role is designed for someone with around 3–5 years of relevant experience in payment integrations who is ready to step into a more strategic, client-facing technical role and grow alongside a fast-moving PSP.
Job requirements
Solution Design & Technical Onboarding
Understanding merchant business models, operational workflows, payment needs, and regional growth priorities across international markets, and partner with business, operations, product and engineering teams to design end-to-end payment solutions for global merchants.
Leading technical deep-dives on payment and recurring logic (mandates, tokenization, retry strategies, dunning), reconciliation, settlement, payout structures, and reporting workflows—working alongside specialist teams where needed.
Advising platform partners (e.g., commerce engines, ERP, POS providers, subscription management platforms) on building or maintaining native integrations with MultiSafepay and Antom.
Owning the technical onboarding journey for strategic merchants and platform partners, ensuring smooth go-lives and long-term performance. Troubleshoot complex integration problems at the API, webhook, tokenization, and business logic level, working directly with merchant engineering teams—escalating to the integration support team only for routine or ticket-based issues.
Revenue Growth & Enablement
Identifying and qualifying revenue opportunities within existing integrations—for example, upgrading a merchant from basic recurring to smart dunning + tokenization, or enabling connected commerce across online and offline channels.
Creating technical playbooks and internal knowledge assets to help the wider team understand headless, platform, and global payment method integration patterns.
Feeding merchant and partner requirements back into product roadmaps for both MultiSafepay and Antom, influencing future capabilities.
What you’ll have:
3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, technical account management, or similar) within a PSP, gateway, fintech, or platform business.
Full-stack understanding – across frontend, APIs, backend services, and infrastructure.
Solid understanding of the full payment operations lifecycle – from merchant onboarding and payment processing through reconciliation, settlement, and reporting—and how each stage fits into end-to-end payment solutions.
Core payment knowledge – tokenization, payouts, and foundational risk management (velocity checks, 3D Secure).
Integration experience – headless commerce or platform-led integrations (subscription platforms, marketplaces, composable stacks).
Technical discovery & solutioning – translate requirements into clear integration documentation (flow/sequence diagrams), validate endpoints using tools like Postman, and leverage Swagger/OpenAPI (and similar) to align on API behavior; comfortable building lightweight proofs of concept.
Fluency in Spanish & English, with Chinese (Mandarin) nice to have.
Why join us?
Unlock revenue opportunities – directly influence growth by identifying and enabling upsell and cross-sell.
End-to-end ownership – comfortable designing pre-launch and optimizing post-launch. No handoffs, no gaps.
Dual product stack – master both MultiSafepay (EU-centric) and Antom (global optimization).
Global exposure – work daily with teams across multiple regions.
Location – Malaga offers excellent quality of life, a growing tech scene, and great connectivity.
Growth journey – join us at an exciting stage and help shape our European solutions practice.
