Senior Fullstack Developer (eCommerce platform integrations)

In this role you will play a crucial role in our Development team, you will work closely together with colleagues who share a passion for e-commerce open source platforms such as Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento and many others. In this position, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the payment gateway modules. Our engineering teams apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, microservices architecture to build scalable and maintainable systems.

What will you be doing?

• Develop, maintain, and support payment gateway integrations for e-commerce platforms such as Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento

• Collaborate with the rest of the development team to ensure consistency of the payment modules, across different e-commerce applications

• Perform extensive testing and debugging of integrations to ensure optimal performance and a high level of user experience

• Stay on top of trends and best practices in e-commerce, e-commerce applications, open source e-commerce communities and payment industry

• Provide assistance to the technical support team, and resolve problems related to payment integration

• Bachelor degree or equivalent working knowlegde

• Solid experience in web development and e-commerce with previous experience in creating payment gateway integrations for e-commerce platforms, such as Shopware WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento

• Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), PHP frameworks

• A solid understanding of OO programming concepts

• Experience of design patterns

• Testing: Unit, Functional, Integration, and end-to-end would be nice to have

• Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills

• Linux/UNIX

• MVC on PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Zend)

• Several JS frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Vue, React)

• Docker. Docker Compose

• Package Managers like Composer, NPM

• Git as version control

• RESTful and non-RESTful API

• Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)
