About the role

Our Development team builds and maintains the payment gateway modules that power e-commerce integrations across platforms like Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Magento. We differentiate ourselves by developing all solutions in-house, working alongside global partners such as Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, and Afterpay, and applying Domain-Driven Design and microservices architecture to build scalable, maintainable systems.

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join this team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting payment gateway integrations across multiple open source e-commerce platforms. Your work will be central to delivering the seamless, high-quality payment experience our merchants and their customers depend on.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing, maintaining, and supporting payment gateway integrations across e-commerce platforms including Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Magento

• Collaborating with the development team to ensure consistency and quality of payment modules across different platforms

• Performing testing and debugging of integrations — including unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing — to ensure optimal performance and user experience

• Staying current with trends and best practices in e-commerce, open source communities, and the payments industry

• Supporting the technical support team in diagnosing and resolving integration-related issues

What you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent working knowledge, with solid experience in web development and e-commerce

• Proven experience building payment gateway integrations for platforms such as Shopware, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or Magento

• Strong proficiency in PHP (including MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or Zend), front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Vue, or React)

• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Git, Docker, and package managers such as Composer and NPM

• Familiarity with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and Linux/UNIX environments

• Strong communication skills with fluency in English
