Financial Controller

As our new Financial Controller at MultiSafepay (MSP), you'll play an important role in overseeing our financial operations, driving financial planning, and ensuring strategic growth. Reporting to our CFO, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In the finance team you will be working alongside a Business controller and Cash controller, in a bigger team of several finance professionals.

What you will be doing?

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing on “working day 3” for group reporting

• Oversee actuals reporting to the CFO, Board, Supervisory Board, and shareholders

• Prepare and submit quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports to the Dutch Central Bank (DNB)

• Perform consolidation of multiple entities within the group (via Lucanet)

• Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities (small and medium-sized)

• Contribute to the annual audit by EY (Dutch GAAP) and group audit by KPMG (IFRS)

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance

• Ensure tax fillings (CIT, VAT, ICP)

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes and efficiency

• 3+ years experience in a similar role

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills (Exact & Lucanet - pré)

• Ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations

• Fluent in English; Dutch at B2 level minimum

• You are a highly precise and structured person

• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
