Acquiring & Payment Channels Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Acquiring & Payment Channels Specialist to join our team at MultiSafepay. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development, management, and optimization of our acquiring and alternative payment products. You will work closely with schemes (Visa, Mastercard, local networks), alternative payment providers, banking partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless payment experiences.

The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with deep technical knowledge of APIs, scheme and provider specifications, payment integrations, and acquiring/alternative payment workflows.

What will you be doing?

• Acquiring & APM Product Management: Lead the analysis, development, and enhancement of acquiring and alternative payment products, ensuring market competitiveness and compliance with scheme and banking standards.

• Technical Integration & Expertise: Work with APIs, scheme specifications, APM documentation, and banking integration processes to support smooth implementation and performance.

• Scheme & Provider Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for schemes (Visa, Mastercard, local networks) and alternative payment providers, staying updated on rules, specifications, and new features.

• Enterprise & Operations Support: Collaborate with enterprise clients and internal operations to ensure seamless integration, monitor performance, and resolve technical or product issues.

• Product Rollout & Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and launch of new acquiring and alternative payment products, ensuring all business, technical, and compliance requirements are met.

• Internal Advisory & Training: Provide guidance on acquiring, banking, and APM products to internal teams, ensuring alignment and up-to-date knowledge of payment methods.

• Innovation & Roadmap Development: Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying opportunities to expand acquiring and APM capabilities and improve merchant conversion..

• Proven experience in acquiring alternative payment methods, or fintech product management

• Strong technical knowledge of APIs, payment integrations, scheme and provider specifications

• Familiarity with Visa, Mastercard, local scheme rules, banking processes, and alternative payment ecosystems

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, compliance, and enterprise teams

• Detail-oriented and proactive in staying updated with industry trends and new payment methods

• Experience with PCI, regulatory frameworks, or banking integrations is a plus

• Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
